Early 90's. For two month's. Maybe 93-94? The canal is a something to behold, though I do not have memories of seeing it from the air. Locks are a slow process, as I'm sure you can imagine, but super interesting seeing first hand. It get's to be a a 'touch' similar to watching paint dry. kek Once you've seen it run a few times, the interest wanes. We can get to the end faster on utube lol

In the 90's, Panama wasn't super stable, after Noriega (Just Cause). I was able to get a couple nights around town, but otherwise stayed on base. Good memories. But hot as hell
