The entire population of Greenland is like the size of a small-ish town. I remember reading up on it a few years back. Only about 59K people at that time, and the 'cities' are not connected by roads. You have to either go by bush plane or water. As inconvenient as it is to be without electricity, the native population there is probably pretty used to it and prepared.
