They do claim "[they] are brought in only when there are not enough skilled Americans to fill the jobs.", but from all the reports I am hearing from people in tech is that this is absolutely not the case.

Just like they lie about illegals helping the economy.

It is healthy for an economy when there are less workers than jobs, because then the worst paying and least valuable jobs are forced to either improve or cease.
