Be careful with direct topical use. You can get oregano in many forms (from the spice section of the grocery store, in capsules at a pharmacy or vitamin store), but any essential oil will be very strong and should be used sparingly. A tea made from regular oregano from the spice jar is just as good as a capsule in my experience. Sometimes in water, sometimes in milk tea.
