Interesting to hear. I know what you mean about the ignorant sense of Western superiority. I used to enjoy viewing traffic disaster videos cribbed from TikTok---not that I enjoy disasters, but I do have a horrified fascination for their variety and unexpectedness. So, the point here is that a good many come from traffic in Russia (which I deduce from the street signs). It is interesting to notice the scenery and surroundings. There is a lot of traffic, thus plenty of roadway and highway. There are a lot of vehicles, not always luxury cars, but perfectly ordinary trucks and sedans. There are a lot of buildings...and advertising billboards...out beyond the center of any nearby metropolis. Not the picture of starving kulaks using steam tractors.
