I know exactly what you mean. My dad had a total of 3 chemotherapy treatments and one radiation set of 33 treatments. After the last chemo, the doctors told him they would kill him faster with the treatment than without. Thank God for that. It gave us another 2 and a half years with him. Most of that time he spent with my brother in Idaho because it was easier for him to breathe but we got to have him the last 5 weeks of his life. I have some medical experience and we had an excellent hospice team. Blessings to Idaho and Nevada Veterans hospitals. They coordinated our trip home (550 miles) with enough oxygen to get him here and had his equipment set up in my home within 3 hours of us arriving.

Thankfully many in the medical community do have a heart for healing. I'm glad you had some extra time with him..🙏
