I'll be darned - why does it seem like everyone we were taught to trust, from doctors and judges to preachers and priests to scientists and orphanages to the Red Cross and Walter Cronkite, from public officials and military generals to medical licensing boards to teachers and medicine makers...are simply not to be trusted, ever

Thanks to the Bad People, we now have to teach kids to go though life never trusting any people at all
