It's the only place to discuss a lot of specialized/niche topics like TV shows since Scroogle and their DEI teams long wiped out forums from search results and modern internet/app and social media culture super shrunk the attention spans of most of the population, killing off most internet forums from lack of participation in favor of 10 second long idiotic videos.

For the record I watch TV maybe once a year so it's not often I go onto any subreddit outside of Superstonk for GME stuff. But holy mother of God help me I just want to read and maybe shitpost a little about a TV show I watched. I do NOT want to hear Karen political correctness patrol deliver a lecture on how and how not to properly address a trooned out character in the TV show.
