So if Merchan sentences Trump to prison time on the 10th and for the time to begin immediately, will Trump still become President on the 20th? Does he have to take the Oath of Office on Capitol Hill for it to be official or are there provisions in place in case a President electee cannot be on hand for the inauguration?
