Animaniacs was well past my time, and I only caught it in passing when my son was little, so I never saw that. It is really good! I'm surprised they did it to that racist song, 'Turkey in the Straw', though. (/s).

"Turkey in the Straw" is an American folk song that first gained popularity in the 19th century. Early versions of the song were titled "Zip Coon", which were first published around 1834 and performed in minstrel shows

And if memory serves me, Ray Charles wrote Fifty Nifty.

Animaniacs was well past my time, too, but my niece and nephew got me hooked on it. I still listen to the soundtrack, sometimes. That's pretty hilarious they used the tune of a racist song, lol.
