I believe this.

But it doesn't make a difference what I believe.

Unless they recorded the call. From the beep-boop of dialing numbers, to the actual conversation, all the way through disconnecting. Then it MIGHT make a difference. If it gets posted out to the wild, and the public picks up on it.

Kinda like a fire, if a wind catches it ...
