The dosage is by weight for horse or for human. The dosage is each notch on the plunger/syringe is 50 pounds, so if you weigh 150 pounds then do 3 notches, if you are 200 lbs then you do 4 notches.... push the plunger until the amount you need is pushed out, take the medicine, drink some water or whatever to wash it down. Some people may mix it in some yogurt or put it on a cracker, but you don't have to. My family just puts it on a spoon and down the hatch, lol. And it's totally fine if you take a little over your weight, it won't hurt you. I usually take a little extra, because my weight falls in between the notches, so I round up a notch.
