… … …

I knew the civil war was bad, but never looked up the population numbers.

The population of the U.S. in 1860 was 31 million. 4 million of those were slaves.

They killed off 750,000 young men in the civil war. An entire generation.

Then they brought in 27.5 million immigrants from 1865 to 1920.

Managed to murder Lincoln (1865), Garfield (1881) and McKinley (1901) along the way. Lincoln can be divisive and is exceptionally difficult to figure out, but McKinley and Garfield were both prepared to do quite a bit of good for us.

They replaced the entire freaking country over 40 years from 1860 to 1900, while murdering all our best leaders.

Who wants to bet that the reason US Grant’s presidency was “so controversial” was because he was fighting these people in the background. No chance they’d tell us what he did or what they were doing with an honest spin.
