Please bare with me. I'm not great at this stuff. I'm a little too autistic, and this kind of thing isn't my flavor of autism, so I could be way off base with all of this. I'm just sharing the patterns I've noticed with this situation.
The shutdown
TikTok's official ban is January 19th. There are several interesting deltas for this day.

THE GREAT AWAKENING.
Q
Rednote One thing that stands out to me is the usage of 'memo'. Again, I could be way off base, but another word for memo is note, and users of TikTok took to Rednote, a Chinese app, in gigantic numbers. Largely in spite against the government.
Rednote has been a MASSIVE red pill for these people. TikTok was completely abuzz with people, even normies, pissed off with our government, realizing that we have far less freedom than we were led to believe, and that we were fed lies on top of lies about China.
Supposedly, social credit scores aren't true. Their groceries are cheaper, luxury apartments are $500 rent, healthcare is cheaper, ambulance rides are free, dental is cheaper, once you pay off your mortgage you no longer owe property taxes, the homeless rate is ridiculously low, and most people own their own homes. And the Americans were pissed.
Americans were also astounded by how welcoming the Chinese Rednote community was. In a single day, Americans were welcomed warmly, and Chinese netizens started working together to make sure all videos had English subtitles. It became a faux pas to not include them. Two entirely different cultures unified, and the Chinese worked to redpill the normies by telling them about the above, as well as the fact that our food is poisoned.
More than anything, American TikTokkers were pissed and snapped awake. Plus, just look at #563 up there. What I've witnessed between TikTokkers/Rednoters and Americans/Chinese shows that we are all unifying more than ever before. And it was so fast and easy.
Going Dark
Rumors were flying about when exactly it would be taken offline, with most people saying 8:30PM EST, but it was ultimately around 10:33PM EST. Comments went down first, then videos a minute or two later.
The 'going dark' wording is extremely interesting to me. Why take TikTok down an entire day early? There's little point in it, even as a form of protest.
TikTok 'goes dark' a day ahead of the scheduled shutdown. Trump has a rally scheduled on the 19th, then the inauguration on the 20th, which is already looking shady as hell, with reports of a sniper rifle and ammo going missing, and the inauguration being moved indoors instead, apparently due to 'cold weather'. On top of that we have Trump's post where he stated it was moved indoors because he didn't want anyone to be hurt.
Additionally, we have Trump and Shou Zi Chew (TikTok CEO) meeting up, and Shou attending the inauguration as well.
Personally, I'm wondering if something will happen between the 19th-20th that will delay the inauguration, possibly leading us to a total of 10 days of TikTok having gone dark before it's brought back.
TikTok Oddity
This is possibly misinformation, but it's too weird not to share. Take it with a big heaping of salt because while TikTok has been instrumental in awakening the normies, it can also be as full of crap as every other platform. Even we here on GA get stuff wrong all the time.
I came across a girl's account earlier. @amberhaines26.
She said that in an attempt to upload a video to Tiktok, there was a black box with white words beneath what she was trying to upload. She shared a screenshot, and the text read:
(first part here cut off) "instructions to certain entities. The symbols or numbers that will be used in these events (like dates, times, or geographic locations) have hidden meanings & are usually only understood by those who participate in these rituals. You must learn the codes & collectively stop the catastrophes from happening."
Her avatar had a green rectangular box at the top left corner of it with the numbers 456. Apparently this is a tie in with Squid Games, but interestingly, q post 456 is just a picture of Washington Crossing the Delaware.
She was the only person I saw sharing that message or mentioning it.
And I've seen no one else talking about any of this.
For those who haven't seen it, the message reads (emphasis mine):
Sorry, TikTok isn't available right now A law banning TikTok has been enacted in the U.S. Unfortunately, that means you can't use TikTok for now.
We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate TikTok once he takes office. Please stay tuned!
If someone could please let me know a good place to upload images and video, I can share her video and a screenshot of the message.
E: Sorry about the typo in the title.
Thank you!
Trump raising his fist and saying Fight fight fight! will forever be burned into my brain in the best possible way.
