This is pretty much what happened with Australia's last big bushfires.
The leftist government refuses to look after the forest/bush properly. Preventative burns aren't done, fallen trees are allowed to sit there for years, fire breaks aren't maintained etc... meanwhile people in the know are screaming from the rooftops that this will lead to a devastating bushfire, but no one in authority listens.
Then, predictably, a fire comes (often deliberately lit), is devastating and all the leftists scream "climate change".
Then, here in Australia, we have a royal commission that hears evidence from all sorts of experts and subsequently recommends that all bush/forest is burned every 4 to 6 years to clear all the fuel (fallen trees etc).
Then the left ignore those recommendations, fuel loads build up, and around 10 years later we have another devastating bushfire, royal commission, same findings, same recommendations... rinse and repeat.
I'm not sure if they announced a cause..
This is very close to home for me. The hillside is what burned---but below it are enormous new apartments, still being built. The winds were gusty today, and we have not had rain in a year--so everything is bone dry. A spark is all it takes.
The area is full of homeless--and I would not be surprised to learn it was arson. Thankfully--our brave firefighters were on it!!!

It's purposely destroying the environment so they can collect more donations.
Here is the link for Cal Fire incidents...for your reference.

They do a pretty good job of updating it for ALL fires in California.
That said, the Mission Valley fire was extinguished quickly. It was about 15 acres.

You be safe. I know another anon here in San Diego.
Thank you--I really appreciate it...
I work in a horrible area --lots of homeless and illegals. I ask God to keep angels around me and the innocents here.
Bless you
May God be with all the innocents and your family.
