An armed man arrested at the U.S. Capitol said he planned to kill Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

Yup, around a 100 different subreddits simultaneously and obviously, completely organically started petitions to ban X and subsequently did so. Forums supposedly completely unrelated to politics. "WE DON'T SUPPORT NAZIS HERE! REE!"
