Just had a very uncomfortable thought. We know the theories...accident? unlikely. terrorism or assassination? more likely. But, I want to throw another thought into the pool. With the "doomsday plane" in the air in the area, could this plane possibly been carrying a weapon? The plane NEEDED to come down and unfortunately many lives had to be sacrificed. Possible? If so, the stakes just went through the roof.
That has BEEN in the air for days, Ive tracked it. Maybe weeks. Not constantly, i dont think, because it does have to a from tracks, one was over LA. I thought I tracked two. I thought they were new AF1. Well…idk now.
Outside their “Doomsday” function. They often are used as Emergency Command Posts for Federal/Military response in the event of Emergencies and Disasters domestically. Coordinating Emergency Flights, Ground Operations etc.
The Sec Def also occasionally uses one to travel as the aircraft allows for a level of communication and control other executive aircraft can’t match.
Though it is worth noting. The E-4B isn’t actually the only “Doomsday” Aircraft in service. The U.S Navy has its own. The E-6B Mercury.
