The "Garden Route" in the Western Cape is till fairly safe and much cheaper than Johannesburg. Quiet excepting during the holiday times and adequately administered by the Democratic Alliance.
Many of us are still here because we do not have the financial resources to live in foreign countries. And it is still a good place to live, if great care is taken.
