They can, and do, justify literally any behavior or condition if it produces a result that stimulates the brain's pleasure centers (using the term 'brain' loosely here :).

Hence their nearly unanimous acceptance of all sexual perversions, including even child molestation: observe the many left-wing outlet articles with titles like "Why is the Right so obsessed with pedophilia?" and "Pedophilia is just a sexual orientation, not a crime."
