Absolutely agreed, but maybe he is speaking of a more esoteric religion? Self practicing Christianity, the more intense you get into it, always seems to end up in older and more existential or mystical sides of the faith.

Someone here had a comment where they theorize "praise and worship" as church practices it is actually pagan and evil. It was a good theory but how many Christians woud be ready to accept it if true?
