That was my thought exactly. A statue that is a tongue-in-cheek reference to "greatest of all time" in the Trump-iest way possible... with gold hooves, horns and tail, and covered in Trump $100 bills that say "In Trump We Trust," which to me is not an affront to G*d because it's fake money and actual printed USDs are bullshit fiat currency anyways.
We also don't know the origin of it, but my guess is that it was a gift by a fan, unless it was commissioned by POTUS.
I just don't get why are some automatically call it an idol? Not everything needs to be tied directly back to the Old Testament.
