What we are experiencing is the last throes of a corrupted political class! They have to vote against Trump's appointees because doing otherwise, means getting exposed! Hawaii had a Republican Governor named Linda Lingle, 2002-2010 for 2 terms. She tried and failed to oust Maize Hirono in 2012 in the Senate election. Sadly, there have been too many demon-rat scum in Pair-of-dice that love to keep Hawaiians living in poverty. Change is slow but steady. Maybe next election.

It's not gonna happen. The corruption is w-a-y too deep in that state. The sad part is the locals don't pay attention to or give a damn about politics. As long as it's a local boy or girl they gonna vote for them. The Democrats are so entrenched, they could bomb Honolulu and they would still vote for them. It breaks my heart because I have some very good friends living there and they just can't be red-pilled.
It has been scary living in Hawaii being a Trumpster, afraid to wear my MAGA hat, etc. but now with Trump winning and Tulsi in as DNI, I believe all that is going to change faster than you can say "pineapple". OMG I hope so! I met my husband when we were stationed at Schofield Barracks, years ago. I took a job in the Pacific and we later bought a condo in Waianae, with the thought of getting transferred there. I just couldn't get the rest of the federal govt civil service to get on board with my plans to make it happen, so we ended up selling it. LOL I have to admit, we felt like a fish out of water whenever we were there and talked politics. The Democrat mindset is very strong, which is so amazing because they are constantly screwing the locals over in favor of big spending projects and Chinese investment.
