No matter the result against Sweden, the US has secured its place in the gold medal game. They lead with 6 points and Sweden, Canada and Finland all have 2. Canada plays Finland and US plays Sweden next. I suspect Canada will come out on top of this group and have a rematch with the US on Thursday.
That game will be played in Boston at the TD Center. It will be interesting to see how the Boston fans treat the Canadian National Anthem. While not Philly fan classless, Boston fans run a close second. (Philly fans bombarded Santa Claus with ice balls and batteries. No, really they did.)
