I'm stuck in Mexico and was suppose to fly back to Toronto Sunday. We still have not been confirmed on a new flight. A pilot that I'm with said of the latest video that it didn't look like the pilot flared the plane to slow its decent before landing hard and collapsing the landing gear.

That would explain the sparks and fire that was observed before the flip.
