Even statins. A family member has told me that if the diet change he's done doesn't lower his cholesterol by summer he will take statins if his doc recommends them. I've gone over the facts that statins cause dementia among other things (and his dad died of dementia) and he said it didn't matter, he'd take them if doc recommends. Still a blind sheep I guess.

Statistically, people with cholesterol on the high side of "normal" live longest. So the idea of reducing cholesterol is insane.
