I dunno that it is specific to tech, they basically have the same rules for men. She says she's 18 and is 17, right to jail. Even if she has a fake ID.

I know a nurse at a max penitentiary that houses the worst sex offenders, truly horrible people raping children etc. One guy was serving 4 years for the statutory rape of a 17 year old girl he met in a bar! Her dad happened to be the DA. I think we need to reevaluate our justice system when a guy who met a girl with a fake ID in a bar is locked up with people who raped toddlers.
