So you're not a PhD living in NYC!? Congrats on all the healthy children. Have a family member who had 2 C Sections. Both children are enjoying life to the fullest.. God bless.
I worked in NYC, but never lived there :) (I took a train from pretty far north; my commute was over two hours each way! I did that rather than subjecting my family to life in the big city. The down side is that I missed a lot of their growing up!)

The USA needs to invest in Train Travel. Its the way to go. Use America made steel to build an efficient track system.
But the cost to make trains with wide-enough seats would be through the roof! :)
