They happen all the time. Most are private or buisness. This includes Rotorcraft as well.
According to the FAA and NTSB the greatest number iof them are pilot error.
You can look up on line all accident reports, even preliminary reports once published.
After the Covid vaccines, there was quite an increase in accidents. Many small planes that did not have copilots went down when the pilot "died suddenly"
Holy crap!!! That’s way more accidents than we’ve been told! No so friendly skies and obviously the numbers are going down. I’m guessing flights pick up over the Summer because the highest number of crashes occur then. Is that international too or just domestic?

Oh. I understand.

Hi fren, this is the NTSB bashboard for US air crash incidents.
This Page is "Summary Charts" with map indicating US territory.
https://www.ntsb.gov/safety/data/Pages/monthly-dashboard.aspx
Press the "Yearly and Monthly Totals" box for that Chart in post heading.
Thank you!!!
Not a problem, fren. We're here to help each other!
Wow that’s a great site and helps to put it in perspective. Thanks!
I agree, fren. It's got some good information.
I do not know. I am sorry.
2025 has the least amount so far
Yes, but you will not hear it from DS's MSM
These are still updating so latest numbers show 63 and 35 for the first two months of this year so these numbers will climb some.
Definitely will climb some.
What qualifies as an accident? What's the severity of those represented by these numbers? Could be comparing apples to oranges.
