Bingo. I think because we peddle in conspiracy so much here, people think that’s all this board is about. But it does have a stated focus, and there’s literally a .win site already dedicated to nothing BUT conspiracy theories. I can see how it would be frustrating for people who DO believe that the shape of the earth is part of the Satanist conspiracy we believe we’re fighting but the topic seems to have so little consensus in that direction that conversations about it tend to revolve solely around that and I can see how ultimately it detracts from what we’re really all here for. I hope the FE people, if they’re right, can prove it eventually (I don’t think they will but I’m open to being wrong), but even if they ARE right, I fail to see how it’s critical at this juncture. The rule has been set, if you want to be here just follow it. And when you get a hankering to discuss that particular topic, there’s clearly another place you can go for that. The mods here have done a great job. I’ve been banned many times for a day here or there when I strayed too far from the core topic and I’ve always felt it was fair. I would hope guys like that could cool off and just enjoy this place for what it is. Maybe it’s not perfect in their mind but why does it have to be? They need to learn to relax and enjoy the show because NCSWIC. And if the earth is truly flat (I’m personally more open to it being hollow than flat), it will become clear soon enough.
