I have a friend whose son has also been living with brain cancer since 2 years old - not given much of a chance, if any, to survive. Years of chemo and surgery, the medical community gave and said "we can do no more." Years of surgeries and chemo.... deterioration all the way. After they saying, "we can do no more," they took them at their words. They were given no other choices. SO...... They prayed. and prayed. And their friends prayed. and prayed.

Guess what? After no more medical "help" this young man is now a young boy (6 years later) living life as he was meant to! When they said, "no more chemo or surgery or hope," at first it was devastating. NOW their "given up by the medical community" is BETTER then he has EVER been.

God blessed my friend's son. I feel certain that God has not only blessed Daniel's health, but that He has also given him an experience and knowledge to reach out to others someday.

I started to say "assuming he lives." Then I recalled - not ONE of us is guaranteed tomorrow.

One lives by the grace of God.
