I had a different experience. I went to a neurologist for migraines. He performed 10 ultrasound blood flow tests on blood vessels in my head. I later received a bill that showed each of the 10 tests cost $200. The insurance discount was $190 each, so Blue Cross paid $10 each for 8 of the tests. 2 were not covered. I received a bill from the Dr for $400 for the 2 uncovered tests. I replied I would pay them the insurance rate of $10 each, or they could take me to court. I never heard back.
More interestingly first time I was on a high deductible plan I needed an MRI or CAT scan for something. I called several providers and asked them how much the procedure would cost. They always asked "what insurance". I said "lets look at it as if I have none", and they could not tell me the price of a procedure paid in cash. How can you run a business if you don't know what your procedures actually cost and what price you need to charge to operate at a reasonable profit.
I too am not a leftist or socialist. I do not believe in state sponsored healthcare plans.
However I also recognize the system as it is is fundamentally broken. This is not a market that is geared towards providing services to patrons, this is a market that is geared towards extracting resources from human livestock in the most heavy-handed and uncompromising way possible. I'm all for making your money for doing good honest work, but this is not good honest work.
My mother has been fighting with united Healthcare,to make them pay for her mammogram for years. They play games with the billing codes. She can afford to pay it,but she's a pit bull with these a- holes. She had a friend die of cancer cause she didn't get the mamogram,cause she didn't want to deal with the a- holes....
I had never heard of united when the killing occurred, and I told her and she wasn't surprised.

When the left learns what was done during covid,i expect them to do the heavy lifting,and for them to lead the charge on these a- holes.
The left will not seek revenge for Covid. They will want forgiveness, but they wont ask, and very few will offer any sort of apology. They will simply try to change the subject. They are highly predictable.

Or maybe she died because of all the chemicals in processed "food" that cause cancer (e.g. glyphosate in wheat flour) and because she fed the cancer with fructose, glucose, whatever, and because she didn't know about Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, Artemisinin, etc. Sad.
Been doubtful of this for a long time wondering if the common knowledge that they are good might not be similar to the same bias as vaccines. Did some digging on my wife's behave and found whenever mammogram screening programs are studied, they are found to not provide a net benefit. Same probably goes for colonoscopy screening too.

The surgeon then came while I was in prep for surgery, he wanted to do a complete mastectomy, just in case. I told him if he did I would sue him and wrote it down and had a witness sign it, in front of him. 30 years ago I stopped going to Allopathic DRS. I had a karen DR. sceam at me and even followed me to the parking lot, yelling you are going to die if you don't get the treatments. He just finished telling me "We got it all" so why do chemo or radiation if you got it all.
