US Air Force Forced to Scramble F-16s Again After Two Aircraft Violates Airspace Near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago | The Gateway Pundit | ...
In a troubling trend, U.S. Air Force F-16s were deployed twice in 48 hours to intercept civilian aircraft breaching restricted airspace near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. The implications for national security are significant.
The amount of general aviation in that area is very high right now, just looking at it, I count at least 7 aircraft and 2 helicopters just outside the TFR. I have a relative that flies a private plane out of West Palm Beach airport, and he said its nuts in that area.
Yep, it is a busy corridor. I think there are 3 airports inside the restricted airspace. The Makos probably have over watch duty. They fly F-16s. They may share the duty with MacDill. The interceptors out of Homestead are F-15s.
