I’m not trying to beat on Massie. I kind of feel bad for him because the world is changing faster than he can grasp. He can’t envision a post-DOGE government, or a treasury that is actually flush with cash. He seems to be stuck in the world of artificial scarcity.
He only needs to have loyalty to a cause greater than his unquestioned beliefs. Not everything in life is black or white as his "principled" thinking seems to indicate to him. As they say, "You can't fix stupid."
