It's called fear mongering and it always works with sheeple.
Suicides aren't profitable.
Overdoses on one side aren't something they want to shine a light on given that they're happening with their settled science, doctor approved drugs. Not profitable.
On the other side they don't want to shine a light on illegal drug overdoses because then you'd need to fix our dying culture and admit that we're facilitating the drug trade.
Measles though... that's something you can create a product for. Mandate a law that 250 million people must take it. Profit.
