He often talks in riddles. Try flipping it around:
Russia couldn't / wouldn't invade Ukraine if Trump was in office.
Russia (cooperatively per the plan) HAD to invade, stop the biolabs and collect evidence for later trials. If Russia invaded while Trump was in office, Trump would look weak and the media would have ANOTHER reason to impeach him.
Now that the "Pause" is over; Trump has plausible deniability that the Deep State was doing all this evil stuff in secret. All this evidence can be submitted into court records and the media can't easily gloss over it.

NATO would not have moved forward as they did. The Nazis there are killing Russian Ukranians for fun in the territories Putin insists on keeping. We would have left NATO earlier, but they had to be exposed for the warmongers they are.
