Informal studies conducted by me,says the civilians are much better shooters than cops.
We had a deer hit by a car laying in a ditch suffering. It took the cop took 3 shots :/
I used to practice at a samll town public range alongside local cops. They couldn't shoot for shit.
I used to go to the range with a friend who was a cop. I have never come closer to death than at the hands of incompetent, careless cops mishandling their weapons.
I have encountered articles indicating that statistically, CCP holders as a group, are more law abiding than the police. The NRA circulated a magazine to members which documented many incidents and statistics.
NRA covered it for many years in every issue. It was on the first or last page of their monthly magazine.
IDK now I'm no longer a member.
Well when my dominoes pizza delivery is more likely to show up before the police do, it's no surprise that people that don't outsource their personal safety and protection would likely do a better job
