many thanks for this comment, and couldn't be more true. we've thrown that on our old equipment out in the garage for grease, might as well be. -banned in your kitchen for 20 yrs. Smart anon. good on you. we don't do that crap either. strictly beef tallow, bacon fat , duck fat and butter. - 🍻
Where are they getting that info? I wouldn't be suprised that this is true, but I don't have any other evicence yet other than a man claiming Rapeseed is actually Canola without showing evidence.
edit - Seems Canola is a genetically modified (bred?) version of Rapeseed
It is a comment one of my mothers grandma's made when she started sewing. An honest bobbin (thread holder on the bottom of a machine) was true & didn't buch up. The deceitful or bad bobbin was one where she couldn't get the tension right.
My mom enjoyed teaching her own grandmother about the machine when she would visit.
I just enjoyed the name. If any of my siblings or cousins ever saw this name or account, the next family reunion would turn into that spiderman meme 😆
I love the story to this. Thank you for that. Mamaw's, Mom's and Children are what make my world go around.. or did. I am glad that I too was taught how to sew by my own Grandmother [Mamaw] - a family reunion turning into a spider-man meme eh? lol 😆 all pointing at each other. -many thanks again Honest'. You're very much appreciated. 🍻🙏
exactly. I'm just trying to get the word out more. seems like if someone makes a video or something comparable that also has some meat behind it, - it gets a bit more traction. -many thanks for the comment and agreed 100% Rain' -🍻
My old diesel trucks love it. Run better on Canada Oil (Cranola oil/Rapeseed oil) than the dry diesel from the pump.
But it is banned in my kitchen and has been for 20 years.
I live in Rapeseed/Cranola grow central. We know very well what it is and what it is Not.

Canola oil is rape seed oil with a better marketing firm.
This is long been known, but perhaps not well known.
CanOLA = Canadian Oil, Low Acid
