Paxton: Courts cannot order agencies to issue 'transgender' driver’s licenses, IDs
Paxton’s opinion concludes that the “‘judicial power’ endowed to district courts does not countenance ex parte orders directing state agencies to amend a person’s biological sex on driver’s licenses or birth certificates.
The power of judges lies soley in people being willing to do as they say.
A thought exercise: A corrupt judge in a small town is trying to railroad a boy that is dating the judges daughter. The boy has done nothing illegal and the whole town knows it, but this judge is determined to abuse his station to have the boy imprisoned. He orders the bailiff to cuff tbe boy, bailiff says "no, this us wrong." The judge orders the sheriff to arrest the bailiff. He refuses. The judge lashes out, saying he will have everyone in town jailed. Nobody does anything. The stenographer stops recording what is happening and in fact erases what had already transpired. Does this judge have any "power?" Thosr in "power" tell you yes. Legally, yes.
But who really has the power in that situation?
Its obviously the bailiff, the sheriff, the stenograpger, and everyone else in that room.
Its a matter of learning that we GIVE these corrupt judges power by listening to them. Ignore them and they're just old dudes in long black dresses wuth hammers.
