Several years ago I had what I'd call "swat lite". My daughter in law's mother, who is a very evil person, had a fight over the phone with her daughter. She and my son were staying at our house. Anyway apparently the fight was at about ten pm, and my DIL's mother called the local police in my town, and told them her daughter was being held in our house against her will. Three cop cars with the brightest lights I've ever seen pulled up in front of our house at 3am. Of course nothing like that was going on, we were all asleep. After they talked to my son and DIL for a few minutes, it was over. I asked if they were going to arrest the lunatic, and they said no. That was it, just no. No punishment at all for making a false report.
