Around here, a Rorschach Blot is considered a "comm." You get to read into it whatever you most want to see. You are right to be skeptical. The Shannon Criterion for message communication is that it reduces uncertainty. It totally fails with all these "comms." So, the present purpose is bias confirmation. And if you don't quite see it, the chorus derides or down-votes you to enforce group conformity.
Stick around and watch. Rorschach blots abound. And everybody praises the Emperor's clothes. If something was "obvious" it wouldn't be "missing." I don't buy the bullshit. It is a group head-fake because the proponents are on a bias confirmation high. Or, as I like to put it, hopium and dopium are very close together.
The pity is that it obscures real items of interest by the confusion and finger-pointing. More hard-headedness and less credulity would clear the air.
Ironic, isn't it. Like we don't spend enough time disdaining "normies" for their group think. I spend a lot of time regarding politics as a laboratory of mental problems.

Sometimes I feel like I'm missing some glaringly obvious thing everyone else claims to be seeing so clearly.
It's so frustrating.

Thanks for your take on it. I know how hard it is to go against group think.
