By this point, I don't understand why there is even any discussion. This will end on Russia's terms, period. The only leeway is that the resulting final condition will be less terrible the sooner Ukraine capitulates. Maybe Poland, Hungary, and Romania can be bought off by allowing them to nip at the western fringes of Ukraine for pieces of old territory.
