Yeah the government itself can't be criticized? Thats not related to anything but a very guilty conscience and a very overused deflection technique.

You can absolutely criticize a genocidal government without discussing the people under the thumb of that government in any way. They deserve freedom from that dangerous government as much as any other victims the government attacks.
