Yeah they say "if you can't see it then I don't know what to tell you!" or "You are brainwashed" - which is funny because I don't watch the news I like going stratight to the source for information. Whatever they are dwindling down to realyl be the 3-5% gone forever.
That person is projecting their insecurity and distrust of people who don't share their world views upon the people who don't care about such things and will help you when you need help. It could be a mental illness, or a crappy childhood and bad family upbringing. There are many people like this and turning off the stimulus getting to their brains such as media/tv/phone may help. An off-grid no internet reset could probably help a lot of people.
