(Side note) Ezekiel 28:14-15 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
The phrase "anointed cherub that covereth" appears in the Bible in Ezekiel 28:14-15. The prophet alludes to the cherubim in the temple of Solomon, which were a part of the ark, being made of beaten gold, and therefore were with it anointed, and were very large, and covered the mercy-seat with their wings. In Ezekiel 28:14, Satan is designated as "the anointed cherub who covers".
