What I like about America taking Greenland is that it humbles the Nordic people. They've been getting very arrogant lately. With their bike lanes, clean cities, economic equality and architectural style
They forgot about step 1. Building a military and defending your territory.
It will be fun to see how they handle building a proper military all while balancing free healthcare and other social services.
I'm on the fence about Greenland. On the one hand I like the idea, not so much as military strength position but a quiet place to move to when retired and like the cold. On the other hand, do we really need to male it a state? I don't think so. The Greenlandians are more then welcome to become a state, but they are also in my opinion in a good position to become their own and partner with America.
You don't know what you don't know. Strategic piece of land. So vitally important. Not I'd like to have it. NO, We have to have it. It's a need not a want.
