Doctors are people as subject to corrupt conduct and recruitment to crime interests as any other.
In theory they have expertise in their field, but in practice the flow of pharma dollars vastly in excess of their ostensible salary means they are not medical practitioners serving patients, but rather sales people paid by commission to push services and products. In the same way that bribed scientists do not do science but instead make up lies about fake weather. Crime entirely negates the value and expertise of many professional industry groups.
I suspect there will not be an AI that pharma will tolerate the existence of that will be useful, if pharma was left alone to continue interfering. Healthy people dont pay medical bills!
Conversely I hope that the heads of the murder/poison pharma cabal are long since removed (literally and figuratively) by the time AI is developed enough to be relied on. So maybe it will come about in a couple years time.
This is not entirely correct. No pharma company has enough money to buy all doctors, nor do they need to. They buy some of the respected academic and research doctors, just enough for their purposes. Doctors are dependant upon scientific study of the whole field and until recently accepted the scholarly papers printed in the once highly respected journals. Even the most simple knowledge is far too complicated for any one person to do basic study of much, let alone all that is needed to treat patients. In my field the doubling time of new "knowledge" was 5 years. That means that 5 years after I retired I knew ½ of the accepted facts. Now I would not have adequate basic knowledge to start a specialist training course, even if I had remembered everything I knew when I retired 11 years ago.
Then there is the added evil of regulatory agencies that strike doctors off professional registers for not practicing in the approved way. Approved by whom? you may ask. NOT defined, but highly influenced by "research" done by pharmaceutical companies since there is no other source of the enormous amounts of money needed for any research.
A kicker is for the last few years Soros has been paying "influencers" to stir the pot of the internet with any insults against learned professions to increase anxiety and panic, and decrease trust in accepted norms of Society.
Control/Ownership is made by carrot/stick motivation against all doctors directly
Control/Ownership is made by carrot/stick motivation via 3rd party intermediary like regulators, journals and academia, that in turn control doctors directly
Then its correct that these are disparate. Its also correct that they are really dont have different outcomes, nor different motivations, nor different means of exerting control and punishing dissenters, nor different perpetrator and victim groups. Regulatory capture V direct ideological capture I guess is another way of putting it.
A lack of trust is an immune-system reaction to noticing that trust has been undermined and eroded to achieve malicious ends, and that any remaining misplaced trust is leveraged to harm those extending said trust.
Like random wealth in the hands of politicians, journalists, country commissioners, police chiefs, judges and prosecutors that cant be accounted for is what DOGE has yielded. All these lit fuses, all burning down to a fiery end, all leading back to arch pilferers and bandit kings and slave lords.. this can is not being kicked down the road, its breaking the foot of the kicker and then going to town on the rest of them starting with their extremities.

I have just seen this essay that slots into this discussion:

If we have the two scenarios -
