Believe what? In crystal balls? I've worked in a world of physics for 50 years, and there is no way to view an actual future, as it hasn't happened yet. All these ideas that you can somehow prognosticate a future are fantasy. We don't even have the means to parameterize such a thing. Knowledge of human nature and history are the best means, but it takes no technology for that.
I think you are attracted to the idea because (1) it offers a possibility, and (2) you don't know even the tiniest fraction of the problem. Bottom line: no evidence.
