Nevertheless, I don't think governments should fund 'news' organizations without our knowledge - and that's what is being stopped. So, stopping the funding of government-funded news-outlets is fine by me. Yes please, keep going.

I think all governments need outlets to publish their stuff - traditionally, this would be in the form of gazettes. Another is on their website. However, this type of publication should be transparent, and it should not be paraded as 'breaking news', or clickbaity drama.
