Subaru does have one car co-built with Toyota who does a lot of US production, but that one is a low production sports car probably 100% Japan.
pnwhomebrewer - Tariff would only affect repair parts from Japan. If third party repair parts from the US are available they will be preferred by third party shops. And if you are in warranty the dealership prices won't change.
It baffles me that Subaru has such a hard time building engines with head gaskets that last. While other auto manufacturers have had head gasket problems too, they don't seem to struggle as consistently as Subaru does.
Alright. About that time, I suppose is when the cars except WRX got the dreaded CVT trans then. However , Subaru remains the #1 choice of the American hiking boot wearing lesbian. I'll stick with my GMC. 😁
