The founder of the "National Diversity Council," R. Dennis Kennedy, paid himself $450,000/year for 10 hours of work a week. Then, in 2022, at the peak of DEI mania, he and two other executives decided they were owed $3 million in "back pay" and looted the organization.

Now, the organization is filing for bankruptcy, with the board saying Kennedy systematically looted it by funneling its assets to a for-profit firm controlled by himself.
